The Lion’s Birthday Bash!
Can you believe it’s been a whole year since The Lion reopened its doors as a community-owned freehouse?
To celebrate this incredible milestone, we’re throwing a very special Birthday Bash and we’d love you to join us!
As luck would have it, the celebrations fall on International Pineapple Day (yes, that’s really a thing!), so we’re embracing the occasion with a tropical theme. Think summer vibes, delicious BBQ food, tropical cocktails and plenty of fun for all the family.
We’ve got a fantastic line-up of entertainment throughout the day and evening. Live music will come from the brilliant Annabelle Pamela, followed by Panic Steel Band and the ever-popular Last Orders, who went down a storm at both Oktoberfest and our recent Beer Festival. Later in the evening, James will be taking to the decks with a selection of cheesy classics guaranteed to get you on the dancefloor.
Of course, there’ll also be our usual great selection of craft beers, real ales, wines and soft drinks, alongside plenty of opportunities to catch up with friends, neighbours and fellow supporters of The Lion.
The past year has been an incredible journey. Thanks to the support of our volunteers, shareholders, customers, staff and wider community, The Lion has once again become a thriving hub at the heart of village life. This celebration is as much about recognising everything we’ve achieved together as it is about looking forward to the years ahead.
Whether you’ve been with us since day one or are visiting for the first time, we’d love to see you there.
So dust off your Hawaiian shirts, embrace the tropical theme and join us for a day of great food, fantastic music and community spirit as we celebrate The Lion’s first birthday!
