Ickleton – Church of St. Mary Magdalene
This church has a rich architectural history and features unique frescoes that were only uncovered after a fire in 1979

IWM Duxford
Considered to be the European centre of aviation history, the historic site has an outstanding collection of exhibits; you can get up close to aircraft, learn about the men and women who served there and regularly see spitfires taking to the skies.

Audley End
One of England’s finest Jacobean houses, characterized by its symmetrical layout and impressive state rooms. The grounds were designed by Capability Brown and feature expansive parkland and gardens.

A magical experience for families including a miniature railway, enchanted fairy and elf walk, adventure play area and nature corner

Saffron Walden
A picturesque traditional market town with some beautiful historic buildings, two types of mazes, a concert hall (Saffron Hall), Fry Art Gallery and a museum.

Saffron Grange

A local vineyard producing delicious sparkling wine, with grapes grown on gentle south facing slops just outside Saffron Walden. Vineyard tours and tasting available throughout summer.

Cambridge Museums

An array of museums covering archaeology, the polar regions, zoology, science and earth science, as well as the beautiful botanic gardens, Fitzwilliam museum and Kettles Yard.

Stapleford Granary

Music, art, education & conversation in a beautiful 19th century farm complex with outstanding facilities, situated at the foot of the Gog Magog Downs.

Saffron Hall

A world-class performance space, hosting some of the finest cultural experiences in the country, including soloists, folk and jazz ensembles, orchestras, dance and opera.

Ickleton Cricket Club
