We’re delighted to now be open on Mondays and Tuesdays from 4pm–10.30pm, giving you even more opportunities to enjoy the pub, our garden, and those long summer evenings!
Whether you fancy a relaxed drink in the sunshine, or a catch up with friends after work, you’re assured of a very warm welcome from our team.
Monday Evenings – Fish & Chips & Quiz Night
On Monday evenings, grab your fish & chips from Ocean Tree and bring them into the pub to enjoy with a drink from the bar? Preorder here.
And if you enjoy putting your knowledge to the test, don’t miss our Quiz Night held on the first and third Thursday of the month. Make sure you’ve taken your seat by 7.30pm ready for the questions to begin!
On the last Monday of the month, join us for The Lion Sings Tonight – an acoustic music session where everyone is welcome to listen or join in!
Ocean Tree will be taking a break until 28th September, so instead we will be serving a limited menu of simple pub grub to eat in or takeaway on Mondays from 5-8pm. Please call ahead to pre-order if you wish.
Tuesday Evenings – Food Truck Tuesdays
Tuesday evenings are Food Truck Tuesdays at The Lion, with a rotating selection of fantastic local food trucks visiting us each week. Enjoy great food, good company, and a summer evening in the pub garden while supporting brilliant local businesses.
